Early start with Captain Gordon was the right choice

My Step-father and I have a passion for the outdoors. Although we’ve only dabbled in what the great PNW has to offer I doubt that any other guide can compete with the experience of GGG. From the start, Captain Gordon’s energy and competence really stood out. I’m not the strongest swimmer and truthfully I was nervous to hit the waters of the mighty rogue river. Within minutes of launch, I had the tools and the guidance to secure tight lines on big fish. When I say GGG puts you on big fish, I mean it. “generational” guide service really translates to, a massive amount of combined experience fishing hundreds of spots through many years of different rive/weather conditions. Captain Gordon’s expertise and patience was on full display as we spent multiple runs in the areas that produced, and blew past the dead zones with nothing going on. The tempo fo the runs were quick but I never felt like he was just “pushing customers” along. At the end of the day, I secured a great steelhead for lunch ( cleaned and processed by a pro ) and my Step Dad and I had some great pictures to share with the family. 10/10 Cant recommend enough. ESPECIALLY for father/son type trips.

Great trip!

What an amazing experience! Tyler is a top notch guide with the knowledge and experience to get you on the fish. The boat was amazing with comfortable captains chairs and a nice heater and food worming box. This was my first drift boat experience and it exceeded my expectations at every turn. I am booking a couple of trips to enjoy with family and out of state friends.
